We learn this from the Washington Post:
Cain campaign has had an attorney advising it since Saturday on crisis management
A few thoughts on this:
1. ONE attorney? For a presidential campaign? And only since Saturday?
2. You’d think that his experiences at the National Restaurant Association would have reinforced with Herman Cain the value of having some attorneys around
3. Among the many things they are, presidential campaigns are at their essence operations in crisis management. That the Cain “campaign” had to bring in an attorney to do what a skilled campaign staff does every single day is another piece of evidence that Cain’s candidacy was never serious and is not staffed by people who know how to win elections.
